"How dare you disobey my orders? I said no food to Naruto!"

Sasuke found himself getting angry, really angry, so powerful that he found a little leaking through on his perfectly trained, emotionless face. "You yourself said that if one of our units is weak then we are ALL weak, so if Naruto passes out from lack of food then we've lost one member!"

Kakashi went serious. "You guys, PASS."  They were all dumbfounded. "Everyone else let thier teammate starve! You were the only ones idiot enough to disobey my orders and feed him!"

"Sasuke, i'm at point B"

"Sakura, i'm at point C"

"Naruto, i'm at point A, BELIEVE IT!"

"Go SLOW Naruto, okay team 7"

"The target has moved! FOLLOW IT!"

They all raced towards a black shape running for the bushes on the other side of the clearing,  hiding behind trees.

"What's you're position from the target?"

"Five meters, i'm ready just give the signal!" Naruto exlaimed at Kakashi, Sasuke, feeling slightly overshadowed, put in his five cents.

"I'm ready too." Sakura followed with her 'woman in black' impression of 'So am I!"

"Okay then, MOVE!" They all ran towards the bush the dark shape was hinding by, Naruto grabbing it by the middle, only to be attacked by it's claws. They brought it back to it's owner who thanked them generously for returning her cat, then asked the Hokage about their next mission.

"Okay, for team 7 we have several available missions, among them baby-sitting the counseler's three-year-old, helping his wife with her shopping, digging up potatoes-"

"NOO! I WANNA GO ON A REAL MISSION! SOMETHING CHALLENGING AND EXICTING, NOT THIS LITTLE KID STUFF! COME ON OLD MAN!" Naruto, cut in, in that special way that only he can, with vengence and anxiety in his voice.

'He has a point.' Sasuke amiably thought. Sakura narrowed her flourescent green eyes annoyed, and Kakashi just looked bored. Iruka-Sensei stood up, and started screaming at Naruto, his dark hands resting on the desk, supporting him in his maniac frenzy.

"HOW DARE YOU! YOU'RE JUST A BRAND-NEW GENIN WITH NO EXPERIANCE! LIKE EVERYONE ELSE YOU START WITH SIMPLE MISSIONS TO DEVELOP YOUR SKILLS AND PROVE YOURSELF!"

"ARE YOU SERIOUS? BABY-SITTING IS NOT A MISSION! IT'S JUST A STUPID-AHH!" Kakashi-Sensei had just pushed Naruto down by the top of his head,

"Will you put a lid on it." He boredly ordered.

"Naruto-" The Third Hokage began, Naruto scrambled to the sitting position and fixing his headband, looked at him with big, shining eyes, as if saying 'what did I do?' Sasuke had to admit to himself, he's eyes were puppy dog cute that way.

"It seems you do not understand the tasks you have been given. Listen, many different request come into our office every day, and we do our best to sort them out between A, B, C, and D, depending on difficulty, you, being a new genin just starting out on the path of ninja, are given D ranked mssions, of course." he finished proudly, but Sasuke wasn't paying him much attention. He was listening to Naruto jabber on about what kind of ramen he was going to have that day. He had to admit, it was pretty interesting.

"SILENCE!" The Hokage exclaimed, "Oh sorry." Kakashi-Sensei stated, he had been more interested in Naruto as well. Naruto hopped around. And exclaimed. in a somewhat softer voice than before.

"You always lecture me like you're my grandfather or something! But, i'm not the little brat who used to play pranks all the time! I'm a ninja now and I want a ninja mission!" He hopped around, looking defiant in his way, Kakashi rubbed the back of his head and boredly stated "I'm going to hear about this later."

Hokage-sama chuckled softly. "Naruto wants us to know that he's not a brat , he's a former brat and he wants a mission. So be it." Naruto and Sakura looked really surprised, Sasuke was surprised, he didn't think that the Hokage would listen to Naruto.

"Since you are so determined, i'm going to give you a C ranked mission you'll be body-gaurds on a mission."
